On the 13th January Gyosei International Junior High School held its annual spelling bee. We would like to thank all those who participated to make the competition as exciting as it was. We would also like to thank all the parents and students that came to spectate and cheer on their friends and family.
The battle for first place was tense, and congratulations to M.T. of J1I for taking first place. He will now go on to the National Japan Times Spelling Bee in Tokyo which will be held at the end of March. A further congratulations goes out to J2A’s K.F. and J1A’s M.O. for taking 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable event and we all eagerly look forward to next year’s event. Finally we wish M.T. all the best in the national Tokyo competition at the end of March.
