Reina Kamakura represented Gyosei International in the 2016 Japan Times Spelling Bee on March 19th. After spelling her word correctly in the practice round, Ms. Kamakura confidently made it through the first two rounds of the competition. Unfortunately, she was cut in the third round, out-spelling half of the competition.Ms. Kamakura did a superb job representing Gyosei International among some of the best spellers in Japan. We hope she will try again in next year’s competition.
